INTRODUCTION
Tom Russell runs a creative architecture consultancy firm out of Marlow in the UK, master-planning and designing hotels & resorts, leisure & residential projects and performance venues and prestige offices in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

BACKGROUND
In recent years Tom was the architect and creative designer behind projects such as the Royal Opera House in Muscat, the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, the Fairmont Hotel and Towers in Heliopolis, Cairo, and more recently the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Muscat.

Tom has masterplanned many international hotels such as Hilton, the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, Four Seasons, Sheraton, Fairmont, Meridien, Swissotel, Holiday Inn, Marriott, InterContinental, Movenpick, and Kempinski. As managing director of WATG he had a balanced approach to coordinating the efforts of all parties involved towards a common goal, through designing and managing large scale international development projects with multi-disciplinary consultant teams.

Tom has lengthy experience masterplanning business and technology parks; prestige headquarter offices ; shopping centres; leisure centres; theme parks; theatre and performance space design; conference and exhibition design; residential; community residential for golf resorts and beach resorts and in the government sector.
